Yes, Clem$ux will pull another Syracuse in ‘18 to some ACC team, then hopefully drop one to us and miss the playoffs.
Losing to SC would be more unexpected than any ACC game on the schedule
I don't think this is a bad prediction and has at least a 50/50 chance of being right. It's really hard not to have a WTF game or two during the season and every program in the country (except Bama) has one pretty much every year.
It's called Clemsoning for a reason.

They caught Texas A&M at the right time with them pretty much starting over. GT and NC State give them scares every year, but never pull through. FSU is still in rebuilding mode, but Tallahassee is always tough. Louisville is average with no LJ. And anything goes in rivalry games.
If Clemson goes 11-1 or 12-0, it'll be interesting to see how the committee will value their strength of schedule - assuming these other teams are who we think they will be.
