Just my opinion, ya know, but I think Trevor Lawrence will benefit from Deshaun Watson more than folks realize. Think back to Watson's freshman year. Cole Stoudt named starter due to knowing the system and being there for 3 seasons, while this hot shot 5-star quarterback waits patiently for his turn. Stoudt, fresh off a butt whippin of Oklahoma, seemingly had the job, at least for the time being. Well, we all know what happened from there. I dont think Dabo and staff wanted to put DW in a position to fail right out the gate. I feel they will not make the same mistake twice. IF and thats a BIG IF TL win the battle in the spring and fall against 5 othe 4-star or higher QBs, he will start. JMO.
