I am sickened after watching Florida being handed and given a W today, should have NEVER happened. Of course I've was going to games as a kid when Dietzel was the coach. The problem has been, is, and will always be, not having any ability to believe you can win. This permeates the athletic programs as a whole. Certainly we have a few a few championships which is great, but we will never, ever come close to the team in the upstate and the success they've had over the last several years. Winning programs (all of them) such as Alabama, Florida, Southern Cal., Texas, etc that have been outstanding through the years with multiple championships, EXPECT to win. We, on the other hand, just like today, sit in the stands and try and figure out how it'll be given away on that particular day. It's sad, to put it mildly, but something needs to be done. If we're going to give and throw games away, why bother playing? Just be a scrimmage team for the one we're playing, and thus there is no more aggravation, frustration, and stupidity for doing things bassackwards, and we could also stop paying million dollar contracts to someone to do what is typically/usually done. Also, I think financially the University needs to determine how they are going to adjudicate expecting people to pay hard earned money for an inferior product, to put it mildly. Unfortunately many people continues to pour money ina program, with very little to ever show for it, save for results similar to what happened today....

Great breakdown of that Jimmy call me !
The statement here which says, " The problem has been, is, and will always be, not having any ability to believe you can win. " is a powerful truth that most people let go in one ear and out the other... This also applies to much more in life than just sports. I know because I have lived it and believed it on both sides.
