We could end up like Virginia and be on a 10 game losing streak and it become mental. Virginia tech freaking reeks of suck and it's so obvious they're in UVA's head even though UVA is a better team.

I think it was mental in 90s and 2000s. Too many years we were relatively even but they seemed to want it more. Now they are just more talented, plain and simple. As much as that sucks, it was worse when we were even and still somehow came up short year after year.

We were in their heads during the 5, they’re in our heads during this 5.

I’ll be interested to see how we play tomorrow. Not expecting to win, but it will be discouraging if we come out and piss ourselves like we’ve done the past two years.

They still want it more. Remember when we were saying it’s just another game and they had count down clock till our game. They circle our game every year

Maybe it's just me but I get the feeling from tater fans that if they don't beat us by 50 it'll be a disappointment for them. USC fans are "meh, whatever happens, happens". Even taters coming over here trying to poke the bear and not getting the responses they seek. Maybe it'll translate to the teams and ours plays loose and taters play tight and try to run it up and maybe it allows us to hang around.

They still want it more.

And they pay top $ to get the players to make it happen.

Maybe we need to put that SEC money to better use because this ain't getting it done. Nobody is even giving us an iota of a chance. That includes us.

I think the Palmetto Series is made up because not once have I EVER heard anyone associated with Clemson mention it. I've followed USC sports since the 80's and NEVER heard the term until Ray started bragging about it 3-4 years ago. Does Clemson even know it's a thing or is it some slick marketing by us?
