I am an African American and a junior at USC in Sociology. I am not a "tater troll". I was doing some research and noticed that Clemson has had at least 7 African American (Watson, Boyd, Danzler, Solomon, Jordan to name a few) quarterbacks in the last 30 years. We have had zero to start for a full year. With Clemson winning so many ACC and national titles recently, I was wondering if USC would ever consider starting an African American at QB? I see with concern many on this board have already written off D. Joyner in favor of the Hilinski who has never yet participated in a college practice. Is it plain racism (like many on this board claim about Clemson) the reason we don't play black quarterbacks? I am considering writing a paper on this subject.
