Clemson has not won five straight in this rivalry since a string of seven wins between 1934 and 1940. They have had numerous four win streaks during that time, but Carolina has always answered the bell in that fifth game.
Carolina has not won a road game vs. a top 5 opponent since a 31-13 win against #3 ranked UNC in 1981. But it has happened.
I predict the Gamecocks pull the improbable upset in a close one, 31-28, on a Parker White field goal in the waning seconds of regulation.

I don’t think I’ve seen too many CU fans who don’t think that this game is a speed bump until Pitt. You never know though. It’s interesting when a team has played 11 games, and only 2 have tested them. And one got blown out this past weekend while teetering on the Top 10, while the other has proved to be average. Early away game in a hostile environment considered.
Jake would be a legend though, and finally get that signature win
