If you ask me, its been a long time coming. I enjoy watching the game but NOT seeing Clemson represented in the women's college world series and the ACC tournament irritated me. Meet part of the first generation of Clemson Women's softball!!!!

There are a lot of SC girls that play very good softball. bdowd, if you like baseball, you will like softball. Bigger ball but basically the same as baseball.
Im thinking the women's softball has hired a fantastic coach, already getting committments, very interested in watching who else he pulls in. Finally, the best girl players in SC will finally have a GOOD school to play for. :-)
Looking forward to seeing softball in Orange...I don't know much about it other than observation, but it looks like the coach is a homerun hire.
I haven't been to a football game in several years due to the arthritis in both knees. As my doctor told me it is self inflicted arthritis from playing softball for 15 years. LOL
Right with you Patti, I live 5 1/2 hours away so its hard for me to get to most Clemson games, but with softball, baseball and basketball, Raleigh, Durham, and chapel hole isnt that far away. Cant wait.
I am so excited that Clemson FINALLY is going to have a softball team. I played softball (slow pitch) in high school and with the Church league and the industrial league in my home town before it was even considered a college sport. I love it that they are already getting commitments (verbals) so soon and some good players also. I have watched the Collegiate Softball tournaments on TV for years and love it. Can't hardly wait for the first season. Go Tigers!
