Wow this goes back to 2016. Good debate ongoing between Gamecoks and Tigers alike but most of these are Gamecock fans with a few Pros and a lot of Cons. But here you go for some 'bye Week' Fodder to chew on and discuss......
When you hear this talking point today, call it the BS that it is. Sure, Clemson kept it within 5 points of Bama, but they had key players dinged up big time during the game including a few nice hits on Watson. In the SEC you finish that game, get on a plane and have 6 days to prep for LSU or UGA. No way that Clemson team survives a 9 game conference schedule.
This... They were at best a 7-5 sec team maybe 8-4. Oky wasn't really physical either, pretty sad when the toughest 2 games all year was a 3-9 sec team that lost to the citadel and a 14-1 sec team that won it all with the only team beating the winner coming from a team that played a qb that got kicked out from clempson 2 years ago for b**** slapping their cheerleader coach.
IMO, Taters Peaked this year, Watson is good, He isnt a GOD like many of you on here sound like you feel, They had every break fall into their lap, from getting almost two weeks off prior to ND, to Playing a "coachless" USC team.. Next year will not be near as Fortunate to them..They play Auburn (A lower tier SEC team that lost coaches) at FSU, and a NEW ERA at South Carolina.... This year was their chance.. No way a two loss ACC champ gets in National Playoff next year.. (Of course this is all IMO)
just curious dawn cock when does the new era start?

"a NEW ERA at South Carolina...." And it is truly something to behold.
