As a senior in high school, Meertens showed her all around talents by averaging 18.4 points, 6.3 rebounds, 4.6 assists and 4.0 steals. She is the all time leading scorer at her high school.
Cherry is a 6-1 forward who transferred from Jones County Junior College. She led her team to a 30-2 record as a freshman, averaging a double-double, 13 points a game and 10.6 rebounds a game.
