OL Will Boggs out of York, SC, has accepted a preferred walk-on offer from the Clemson Tigers. Boggs, 6-4 285, was recently named the South Carolina Offensive Lineman of the Year.
Boggs played for SC in the annual Shrine Bowl game after grading out at 88% over the season with 41 recorded pancake blocks. He had offers from some smaller schools like Presbyterian, Davidson and Newberry, but his heart was always going to Clemson. Coach Swinney and staff are always about giving kids a chance to prove themselves and Boggs is no exception. He has the size and the heart, time will tell what he makes of his opportunity.
