2021 DE Kaseem Vauls and 2022 DT Isaiah Williams will be at the valley Saturday for the Clemson-Charlotte game.
Vauls, 6-1 235, transferred from Zebulon B. Vance High School, Charlotte, NC to Irmo High School in Columbia, SC. As a sophomore at Vance, Vauls played the nose tackle position and recorded 11 sacks. He has moved back to his natural position of defensive end and excelled. Vauls when asked if has visited other schools yet: " No I haven’t, I have just been grinding this past off season getting ready for this year (my junior year). I was decent last year on varsity for Vance with 11 sacks at nose but I playing out of position. So now I’m back at my position DE and already 8 sacks in 4 games and will have more by time I get to Clemson on Saturday! I made the super 60 list in the state paper last month, I made the top 20 list for DE in the nation from rivals, #2 in the state in my class! But I have a lot of work to do." CSN will be following Kaseem Vauls closely over the next two years.
Isaiah Williams is a 6-0 300lb defensive tackle that takes up a lot of space. Williams, Vaul's cousin, plays the other DE/NT for Irmo. He transfered in from Desert Edge high school in Goodyear, Arizona, where was listed at the #2 DT in the state as a freshman.
