Coach Swinney and his staff is wasting no time in recruiting the defensive end position, offered their third prospect in two days. Monkell Goodwine, Fort Washington, Maryland, received an offer today to join the tigers in 2021. Goodwine, 6-4 260, the 11th ranked DE in the country in the 2021 class and the #5 player in the state of Maryland, received his 25th offer from the tigers.
Just a little over a week ago, Goodwine narrowed his options to five schools; Maryland, Penn State, Alabama, LSU and Texas A&M. Does the Clemson offer change that somewhat? Only time will tell.
