As you may already know, this is the BIG week for Clemson Football Camp Week II. There is more talent here in this one week than I think has ever been on Clemson's campus for this camp. In addition to the ones I've listed below, there are a number of highly sought after prospects coming in.
Brock Vandagriff out of Bogart, Georgia, is currently listed as the #4 Pro Style quarterback in the 2021 class. He recently announced his top 6 on twitter, which includes Clemson. At this point, he hasn't received a Clemson offer. History shows Coach Swinney is hesitant to offer sophomores. As a rising junior and attendance at this camp, look for one to come. Two 4-star WRs that Clemson covets will also be in attendance; EJ Williams (Phoenix City, Alabama, and former teammate of Clemson WR Justyn Ross) and Xzavier Henderson (Miami, Florida). Clemson is strong with both.
Approximately 1500 prospective athletes grades 8-12 descended on Clemson this week. Multiple offers went out, mostly to the 2021 class. Next week, June 14-16, looks to be the week when the big boys come out. #1 player in the nation DJ Uiagalelei will be attending as well with his current teammate Beaux Collins, who is expected to be one of the top ranked WRs in the 2021 class. Joining those two from St. John Bosco are Maximus Gibbs (2021 OL, 6-6 330), Earnest Greene (2022 OL, 6-3 301) and Rayshon Luke (2022 RB, 5-8 160 who also runs track).
The #1 Center in the 2021 class, Ryan Linthicum, a teammate of current commit Bryan Bresee, will be attending camp as will Evan Pryor, a 4-star running back out of Cornelius, NC.
The first week brought in around 1500 prospective athletes. This week should bring in a similar number. Look for more updates.
