3-star athlete Jaylin Smith got the dream offer he has been wanting, Clemson University. The 5-11 180 athlete from Mission Hills, California, received his 11th offer but is just getting started. He played both ways for Bishop Alemany High School, playing WR and CB. He is currently ranked as the 42nd athlete in the 2021 class but expect that to improve. As expected, most of his offers are from PAC-12 schools but getting a Clemson offer is a great feather in his cap.
Smith becomes the 58th offer for Clemson, including the 8th "athlete". It is widely known that Clemson does not give out a lot of offers. No, they don't get everyone they offer, and part of that is due to the staff's "stick to the blue print" plan. The 2021 class is already ranked #1 and off to a fast start.
