Ryan Linthicum, the top center in the country in the 2021 class, visited Clemson over the weekend. The Clemson commit is the former teammate of current signee Bryan Bresee. Linthicum, 6-4 275, is currently ranked as the 8th best player in the state of Maryland, but that will rise. He has at least 18 offers to go elsewhere including schools like Alabama and LSU.
Linthicum is another piece of the OL puzzle that escaped Clemson for years. The OL always seemed like an afterthought, but in the past few years, has been a strength. He joins OL Marcus Tate in giving the tigers a good one-two punch to kickoff the 2021 OL class. The 2020 offensive line class is already seen the best freshman class to enter Clemson.
