4-star APB/RB Will Shipley announced today that he will decide on his college of choice on May 5th. . Apparently, his finalists include Clemson, Notre Dame and possibly UNC. UNC has been on a roll lately, preaching the “stay at home” mantra and so far, it has worked. Don’t count them out.
Shipley used twitter to provide the date for the announcement. He said he will make his call Tuesday afternoon. CSN will report it as soon as it’s announced.
Ranked as the nation’s #1 APB, Shipley had a banner year for Weddington High School, leading them to a 16-0 record and the State 3AAA Championship. It was their 3rd title in four years. All Shipley did was carry the ball 26 times for 256 yards and four touchdowns. For the season, he carried 188 times for 2066 yards, 30 touchdowns and 10 games with 100+ yards. He also caught 34 for 582 yards and 8 more touchdowns.
