Dabo Swinney addressed the media following the Tigers big win over the in-state rivals South Carolina by a score of 56-35. Swinney addressed the media with his opening statement and then took on questions.
Swinney started off by stating “To be 12-0 is really special accomplishment by our team...Really happy for our fans ...Amazing performance offensively...One of the best games offensively’. Then he mentioned his freshman QB “Thought Trevor was amazing “ On the offense “ability to have that balance...3 drives of 95 yards or more ...Season rushing TD record 42...All the backs were special ...Shout out to our offensive line...Trevor making plays with his legs “
On the surprising success of the Gamecocks on offense and the Clemson defense, Swinney said “I thought they had a great plan ...We did not line up very well” But reminded all in attendance “You win by 3 TD’s against your rival that is a good day”. But for sure he pointed out that work has to be done ”Get back to work and correct it”.
